Telehealth
Telehealth psychiatric medication management across Washington
Adults anywhere in Washington can be seen by telehealth, on the same unhurried format as an in-person visit. If you would rather come to the Spokane office, that option stays open.

Available anywhere in Washington
Telehealth appointments are open to adults located anywhere in Washington state. In practice that has meant people in Spokane and the surrounding communities, and people over on the west side in Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue, Olympia and Vancouver, along with Yakima, the Tri-Cities and Bellingham. If you are in Washington, you are in the service area.
The one requirement is that you are physically in Washington at the time of the appointment. That is a licensing rule, and it applies to every provider licensed here.
Why this matters outside the metro areas
Access to psychiatric care is not evenly distributed in this state. Plenty of people can find a prescriber eventually but cannot find one with an hour to spend on the first visit, or one who will still be there in six months. Telehealth does not fix that on its own, but it does mean geography stops being the deciding factor in who you can work with.
What a telehealth visit actually involves
The initial evaluation is 60 minutes, same as in person. We go through history, what is happening now, what you have tried, and what you want to be different. Follow-ups are 25 minutes. Jesse sends the link and instructions ahead of time; the platform is HIPAA-compliant.
What you need on your end is simple: a private place to sit where you will not be overheard, a device with a working camera and microphone, and an internet connection that holds up. If the connection drops, we finish by phone rather than cutting the appointment short.
The Spokane office is still there
In-person appointments are available at 9631 N Nevada St, Suite 209, Spokane, WA 99218. Some people want the first visit in person and the rest by video. Some want the opposite. You are not locked into whichever you pick first — just tell Jesse.

Insurance
Think Beyond Psych is in-network with most major Washington plans, including Premera Blue Cross, Regence BlueShield, Asuris Northwest Health, First Choice Health, First Health Network, Kaiser, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and URM. Jesse verifies your specific benefits before the first appointment so you know what to expect rather than finding out afterward. This list is not complete, so if you don’t see your plan, ask anyway and Jesse will check.
We are not able to see patients covered by Medicaid, Apple Health, or other state-funded programs — including as self-pay. This is a federal patient protection rule, not a preference. If that is your coverage, Jesse will gladly help point you toward providers who accept it.
How to start
Send the appointment request form, or call Jesse at (509) 591-9007, Monday–Thursday, 10am–4pm Pacific. Jesse verifies your benefits, answers the practical questions, and gets you on the calendar. You will hear back within one business day.
What is treated this way
The same things the practice treats in person: anxiety and depression, OCD, postpartum mental health, grief and life transitions, identity-related struggles, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and ADHD for adults with an established diagnosis.
What telehealth here does not cover
I do not prescribe benzodiazepines. I do not treat active substance use, active psychosis, personality disorders, or active crises, and telehealth is not an appropriate setting for an emergency. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 or go to your nearest emergency room.
